Liza Weems is a photographer specializing in fine art and documentary photography. With a passion for photographing people, the land and storytelling, Liza makes compelling photographs, finding inspiration in varied cultures, nature and shared human experience.

AWARDS

Liza has been honored with awards and grants for her work as a photographer and photography educator. Honors include First Place in Black and White at the Boulder Arts Association National Juried Photography Exhibition, First Place in the Texas Photographic Society's annual Member's Show, Honorable Mention at the Camera Club of New York's National Juried Photography competition, and Honorable Mention at the New York Center For Photographic Art International Juried Photo competition. Liza was awarded Honorable Mention two consecutive years in The Latent Image Journal of Photography. Please see her CV for more information.
